Transcutaneous aricular vagus nerve stimulation with the tVNS® E is a systemic therapy. Here, sensory fibers of the vagus nerve in the Cymba Conchae of the auricle (outer ear) are addressed, which send the signal further to the brainstem and the cerebral cortex.
