A small team of six people in Erlangen coordinates further development and marketing. The company manufactures all products on site with local partners, everything is “Made in Germany”. In 2005, Stefan Dietrich and Timo Freitag founded cerbomed GmbH in Erlangen, laying the foundation for transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS) via the ear—a groundbreaking technology for supporting patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders. Their innovative work earned them the IHK Founder’s Award for Middle Franconia, among other honors.
Today, tVNS Technologies GmbH continues this pioneering work as the legal and technological successor. From the heart of Medical Valley Erlangen, we bring our high-quality devices, manufactured in Germany, to the global market. Our small, dedicated team of experts oversees the further development, production, and marketing of our products with the highest standards of quality and safety – 100% Made in Germany.
